ディズニーランドへ行こうと計画してるそうです。

Hi Everyone! How have you been?
Did you guys notice that we've already been in a rainy season!
Time flies, doesn't it?
みなさんこんにちは。元気にお過ごしですか？
気づけばいつの間やら梅雨入りしていましたね。

Anyway leaving that aside, we held our monthly event "Sushi roll experience" today!
それはさておき、今日は月に一度の巻き寿司体験会でした！

We've got 6 guests and started this event in a nice atmosphere.
定員一杯の６人も集まり、賑やかなスタートです。





Everyone are making the first one with serious faces.
みんな真剣な顔つきで１本目を作っています







And making a second one.
そして２本目をつくりつつパシャリ。





The tall guy who is on the right side in a picture told us that his mother is Japanese!
右の長身の彼はなんとお母さんが日本人だそうです！





As time goes on, Loooots of Sushi were already made!
そうこうしているうちにもうこんなにたくさんできました！

Eventually, they cut last sushi roll by themselves.
そして最後は３本目を自分でカットします。





It always makes me surprised because Guests make sushi very well everytime.
いつも驚きますが、みんなすごく上手です。



Now, It's ready for sushi party! Plenty of sushi!haha
寿司パーティの準備が整いました！大量！笑

Before eating sushi, we took a nice group photo as usual.
いつもどおり食べる前にはみんなで集合写真をとりました。



Everyone told us that sushi was amazing^^
We are really happy to see that they seemed satisfied with this event!
みんな美味しいと言ってすごく満足してくれていました＾＾
嬉しい言葉が聞けて僕達スタッフも満足でした！

The start of the rainy season was announced for Tokyo few days ago, but it was a perfect day for sightseeing with bright sunshine today!

数日前に東京は梅雨入りが発表されましたが、今日は観光にはもってこいの最高の日でした！

It is Free Drink Night, and we have lots of girls tonight!　Woohoo!

今夜のフリードリンクは女の子がたくさん参加してくれています！　

We serve Japanese Sake, Plum wine, soft drinks, and snacks for free as always.

いつものように日本酒、梅酒、ジュース、お菓子を提供しています。



These 4 girls from Taiwan bought a whole cheese cake in a popular cake shop in Tokyo and are sharing together.

台湾からの4人組は人気のケーキ屋さんでチーズケーキを買ってきてみんなで食べてます。





They are from England and making plans for thier trip in Japan. They are traveling to Okinawa tomorrow. I am so jelous!!

イギリスからの彼女たちは日本旅行のプランをたてています。明日から沖縄に行くそうです。いいな！





This is our cleaning staff, Johanna from Germany. She was a staff at K's House Ito Onsen last year and has been working with us at K's House Tokyo since February.

私たちのクリーニングスタッフ、ドイツから来たヨハナは去年ケイズハウス伊東温泉で働いていて、今年の2月からケイズハウス東京で働いています。

She will be in K's House Takayama as a cleaning staff for 2 weeks in July. She is now K's proffessional cleaning staff!

7月から2週間ケイズハウス高山で働く予定です。もはや彼女はプロのクリーニングスタッフです！





These 3 girls from Ireland are chilling now to save their energy for Disney land tomorrow.

アイルランドからの3人組は明日ディズニーランドに行くため、今夜はのんびり過ごすそうです。



We are always happy to see our guests having a great time and fantastic experiences in Tokyo.

ゲストが東京での時間を楽しく過ごしているのを見ると、私たちもうれしいです。



Next Free Drink Night will be on the 15th June, Wednesday.

Hello everyone, it’s me Kai!
Finally this day has come. It is our 10th Anniversary day! (June 1st)
I was honored to be here on this memorial day as a member of K’s House family and celebrating our 10th birthday with a lot of guests who joined us last night!
We had been preparing for this from a month ago in order for everyone to have fun last night. Here are some photos from the Party.

みなさん、こんにちは。僕です、かいです。
遂に来ましたね、この日が。はい、うちの10周年です!
この10周年という記念すべき日にケイズハウス東京の一員として、ここにいられてとても光栄です。この日、最高なパーチーにするために一か月以上前から、プランを練ってきました。
その模様です、どうぞ。




















We have served a lot of snacks and handmade food by our staffs.
Also some cocktails, plum wine, Japanese sake, and beer from beer keg too!

今回は１０周年ということで、前回よりもたくさんの食べ物、お菓子などを提供し、飲み物もビールサーバーなどを含め、いろいろと準備しました。









For warm up before we reach the climax, the guests played Japanese game called Pop Up Pirate. Whoever popped it up had to take a sip of the super bitter (but healthy) tea as a punishment.

ウォームアップという感じで、ゲストと一緒に黒ひげ危機一髪のゲームをやりました。今回は罰ゲームとして、顔が引きつるほど苦い（でも健康的）なお茶を用意しました。





After that, we also played “Guessing Beer game” which you have to taste it and guess which beer brand it is among Carlsberg, Hoegaarden, Corona, Guiness, and Kirin. Only two guests have got them all right, and won the chopsticks as a prize.

続きまして、世界のビールを使って利きビールをやりました。
ビールを試飲し、どのビールかを５つの中から当てるゲームです。全問正解者には景品としてお箸をあげました。


The next activity we did was a live music performed by our talented cleaner staffs, Michael and Ayako. They have played some Japanese classic music and the last song, “Stand By Me” made us singing all together!

次のアクティビティーは我らがケイズハウス東京の清掃さんによるライブでした！最後の曲のスタンドバイミーはみんなとの一体感がありましたね。











We also did quizzes that were all true or false questions, and the winner could obtain some prize after all!

あとはなんとクイズ大会などもやりましたよ。勝者には景品をあげました。








As a party comes to the end, we took group photos with everyone like we always do every year. What a great photos we got this year too!

パーティーもそろそろ終わりというところで、毎年恒例の団体写真です。




It was a blast to see many guests and some old faces we haven’t seen for a while, having a good time with us! We closed it with our manager Nabe’s speech.

今年もたくさんのゲストと懐かしい顔の面々と一緒に盛り上がりました。最後はマネージャーのナベさんからのスピーチで締めました。



Thanks everyone for participating and celebrating with us last night. Just as Name said, this is our new start that we’re always looking forward to evolving and improving even more and more. We’re here to provide a relaxing and cozy place, enough information to fully enjoy the tourism, and a warm atmosphere like your home for ALL the guests here.

It was a fine and hot day here in Tokyo and a perfect day for Asakusa Free Tour!!

今日は良い天気で暑かったですが、浅草ツアーにはもってこいの日でした！！

We had 4 men from US, UK, and Australia today.

今日はアメリカ、イギリス、オーストラリアの4人が参加してくれました。







The icon of Asakusa, Kaminarimon (a big gate of Sensouji temple) are under contraction until the end of June.

浅草といえば雷門ですが、6月末まで工事中の為見れませんでした。

Unlucky

残念！



But don't worry, we took a group picture in front of the temple!

でも心配しないでください、浅草寺の前で集合写真を撮りました！





Everyone drew Omikuji (a written oracle) today.

今日はみんなおみくじに挑戦しました。



Some said "Best fortune", and some other said "Unlucky".

大吉もあれば、凶もあります。



They had a good experience anyway!

みんないい経験になったようです！







And also, we went to an arcade for Purikura (a photo booth.)

そしてプリクラを取りにゲームセンターに行きました。



The guys look pretty girls hahaha!

みんな可愛い女の子みたいですね！

We hope they enjoyed our free tour today.

みんな楽しんでくれたようで良かったです。

And it is our 10th Anniversary party from 18:00 tomorrow.

明日18時から、ケイズハウス東京の10周年パーティーがあります。

Two of them went to Kawaguchi-ko Lake to have a view of Mount Fuji this day and will go hiking Mount Takao next day.

両脇のお二人は、この日、河口湖へ富士山を眺めに行ったそうです。
翌日は、高尾山へハイキングとのことなので、アクティブですね～・

Hey guys, how’s everyone doing?
Can you feel that the Summer is just around the corner? Maybe a lot of guys have started working out and trying to be fit, or girls have started dieting and choosing some hot bikini for the upcoming beach days? But be aware of the raining season before that!
みなさん、こんにちは。調子はどうですか？
もう夏まぢかですね。男性諸君は夏に向け、体を鍛えはじめていますか？そして女性のみなさんはビーチでかわいいビキニが似合うよう、ダイエットを始めてたりするんでしょうか？でも、その前に梅雨に用心しなければいけませんね。


Today, we had a monthly event, Sushi Roll Experience!
We had guests from Poland, France, and the US participated and enjoyed the event with us. Here are the photos!
さあ、今日は毎月恒例の巻き寿司イベントの日です。
今回はポーランド、フランス、そしてアメリカからのゲストたちが参加してくれました。
その模様です、どうぞ。






This is what we use to make sushi rice.
いつも酢飯を作るのにこれを使います。


these are the ingredients for sushi rolls such as cucumbers, pickles, eggs, imitation crab, pasted plums, avocados, tuna with mayonnaise, Natto (fermented soy bean), Japanese basils, and konbu (kelp) Very friendly ingredients for vegetarians alright?
これらが材料になる、キュウリ、たくあん、たまご、かにかま、梅、ツナマヨ、こんぶ、アボカド、納豆、そしてシソです。とてもベジタリアンに優しい材料になっております。


and you put those ingredients on the nicely spreaded rice on a seaweed
そして、それらの材料をその酢飯たちの上にのせます。



Now, gotta roll it!
では、巻いていこう！

After the rolling process, need to cut them into pieces. Don’t cut your fingers into pieces thou.
巻くのが終わったら、今度は食べやすいように切っていきます。指は切らないように。




Mmmmm yummyyyyy. These rolls with soy sauce would be…aha you know it.
んんんーーー、おいしそうでしょう。醤油につけて食べたら、もうたまんないっすね。


And finally, it is time to eat! Are your hands clean?
そして、ようやく食べる時間ですよ！手はきれいかな？


Basically, the participants get to learn how to make sushi and eat them till they get full only for 200yen! Isn’t this amazing? Our friendly Sushi senseis (teachers) will kindly teach you in English! So please come participate next time if you haven’t tried it yet!
このイベントでは、たったの２００円で巻きずしの作り方が学べ、おなかいっぱい食べられます！指導は巻きずしの先生たちに英語でやっていただくんですよ。興味のある方はぜひ次回やってみてはいかがでしょう.



And with the leftover, our staffs made some rolls as well for other guests. Yes, we do not like wasting food so
ちなみにあまった材料で、我々スタッフが作ってほかのゲストにふるまいました。そう、廃棄物の少ないホステルを目指しております。
